Central to Angus’s signature sound—alongside walls of roaring Marshalls—was one of the first wireless guitar systems: the Schaffer Vega Diversity System.
Its unique combination of a preamp and Dynamic Expansion circuit shaped the sound of rock history!
The Heatseeker faithfully recreates this magic. The preamp boosts your signal, tightens the lows, and enhances the mids, while the Dynamic Expansion circuit improves dynamic response and adds rich harmonics for punchy, mix-cutting tones.

The Heatseeker’s dual design lets you use each side independently or together for ultimate versatility.
The left side delivers Marshall amp tones, while the right side recreates the legendary Schaffer Vega preamp and tone enhancer.
A passive FX loop also allows you to insert pedals between the two sections or use them as standalone effects.
While designed with Angus Young’s tone in mind, the Heatseeker opens the door to countless legendary sounds—from KISS and Peter Frampton to Van Halen!
Three iconic amps in one pedal.
Crazy Tube Circuits captured the sound and feel of three legendary British amps synonymous with rock: the JTM45, the 1959 Super Lead, and the JMP 2203.
A smart switching circuit selects the appropriate gain stages for each amp mode, combining them with a Marshall-style EQ and power amp simulation for thundering tones.
A Wall of Sound toggle switch also expands your soundstage for epic tones!
